Sports play a very significant role in a student’s life by promoting physical fitness, mental health, and overall well-being. They help students develop a sense of teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship which are valuable life skills. The benefits of sports extend beyond the playing field and into the classrooms where students who participate in sports tend to perform better academically.

The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital
The school has more than two acres of space completely dedicated to sports facilities and a robust sports-centric philosophy integrated into its curriculum that is based on its strong belief that a healthy mind can reside in a healthy body. Therefore, ample opportunities are provided to the students to participate in sports activities. Besides the regular slots in the time table, routine practice for an hour is provided to the sports enthusiasts. There are several types of sports that school offers, including team sports such as football, basketball and volleyball as well as individual sports such as track and field, tennis and archery.
Volleyball
There is a famous Chichewa proverb that says; “M’mera mpoyamba” literally translated as catch them while young. Realising the importance of a child’s formative years and how whatever happens at this early stage has a bearing in a child’s later years, we provide professional training to the students right from Nursery class in skating, archery and football besides the other athletic events while taking every precaution of their safety and security. This enables in identifying young talents and a proper grooming of their talents.

The school arranges competitions at various levels – from inter class to inter school to enable the students face challenges, stretch their limits and sharpen their skills. The students also participate in various sports competitions organized by prestigious sports bodies like States Games Federation of India (SGFI), CBSE School Games, Cluster Meets and bring laurels to the school. The state of the arts Sports facilities at the school with the training provided by the professional coaches in areas like badminton, shooting, table tennis, chess, basketball, cricket, skating, martial arts prepares the children for national and international level championships.
Pursuing all together- an art form, a lifestyle, and a sport
Keeping in mind the physical and mental benefits of sports, a summer camp for sports is organized in the month of May every year in the school. Students who participate in sports often develop a strong sense of school pride and are more likely to attend school events and support their peers in other activities.
